Torchwood will follow the adventures of a team of investigators as they use alien technology to solve crime; both alien and human.

"Torchwood is a British sci-fi paranoid thriller, a cop show with a sense of humour," says Davies.

"It's dark, wild and sexy, it's the X Files meets This Life. It's a stand-alone series for adult audiences which will have its own unique identity."

I am looking forward to it too. :)

Isnt it terrible just to love a show because of a sexy star. Now where are my copies of Babylone 5 and Star Trek Voyager (Series 4 onwards) :DD

I have read rumours that the show may be delayed due to refilming. I hope not. Perhaps AJ knows, being a BBC insider ;)
